Production Worker (Saltery)

Job Description

We are looking for a Production Worker to join our meat saltery team. You will be responsible for mixing ingredients, placing meat onto racks, packing finished products, and cleaning while strictly following ISO 22000 food safety management standards.

Key Tasks

  • Mixing ingredients
  • Place meat onto racks, trays, hooks, or smoking sticks for salting or smoking
  • Pack cured meat products into containers, vacuum bags, or boxes with correct labels
  • Sort meat cuts by size, type, or quality
  • Clean workstations, machines and tools after each shift
  • Follow all ISO 22000 procedures for hygiene, temperature control, salt concentration, curing time, and contamination prevention

Requirements:

Education

MULO-diploma (junior high school / secondary education)

Experience

Not required – training provided

Physical

Able to stand for full shift and lift up to 25 kg

Safety

Willing to wear PPE (gloves, boots, apron, hair net)

Work Environment

  • Cold temperature (approx. 2–8°C)  for curing and storage area
  • Fast-paced production line
  • Must be comfortable working in an environment  with raw beef/pork, and strong meat/spice/smoke odors
