About the Role

Are you accurate, highly organized, and experienced with inventory management in a cold and freezer storage environment? Do you enjoy working in a structured way and can you handle responsibility well? Then we are looking for you!

As a Warehouse Inventory Assistant, you are responsible for managing, checking, and recording all articles within the designated cold and freezer storage locations. You ensure that products are stored correctly according to applicable procedures and quality standards. Additionally, you supervise the pickers and ensure efficient inventory management.

Key Tasks

• Managing all articles in the designated cold and freezer storage locations
• Accurately storing articles in cold and freezer storage locations
• Maintaining inventory records for storage locations
• Conducting periodic inventory counts
• Monitoring expiration dates and reporting to the Inventory Manager
• Analyzing and reporting inventory levels to responsible members of the Inventory Team
• Recording data in the Varross Application (Odoo)
• Supervising and directing the pickers
• Applying the FIFO system from storage locations
• Monitoring inventory procedures as established by management
• Checking produced goods for packaging, labeling, and storage based on product knowledge
• Checking waste and non-usable parts

Responsibilities

• Ensuring correct storage and recording of products
• Monitoring inventory levels and product quality
• Responsible for correct application of FIFO procedures
• Ensuring compliance with HACCP and food handling guidelines
• Timely identification and reporting of irregularities, shortages, or expired products
• Maintaining order, cleanliness, and safety within storage locations
• Properly supervising and guiding pickers
• Responsible handling of inventory and recording systems

What We Expect From You

• Vocational education level (MBO)
• Experience in inventory management, logistics, or warehouse management is a plus
• Experience with recording systems such as Odoo is a plus
• Good command of the Dutch language
• Ability to work independently and in a structured manner
• Sense of responsibility and attention to detail
• Willingness to work in cold and freezer conditions
